Fuel Prices Surcharge

Overtime, regulations have changed, we are facing carbon related taxes, the requirement of DEF fluid, as well as surcharges on rubber related products. Therefore, Hercules is updating the FSC table to recognize the impact of these diesel related products and regulatory changes and their impact on transportation cost. These changes will go into effect January 1, 2022. The following fuel surcharge chart will be effective for all shipments tendered to Hercules.  Based on the U.S. National Average Fuel Index, we adjust the surcharge on Wednesdays according to the following chart. You can attain the information published by the Energy Information Administration of the U.S. Department of Energy, by telephone at 202-586-6966 or via The EIA table.
